Ron’s Gun Shop provides experienced gunsmithing, maintenance and firearm repair at our Germantown store. From routine cleaning and parts installation to diagnosing mechanical problems, we will inspect your firearm, explain what it needs and discuss the work with you before proceeding.
Gunsmithing Services
Every firearm and every repair is a little different. Some problems are straightforward, while others require inspection and diagnosis before the needed work becomes clear. Bring the firearm into the shop and we’ll take a look, explain what we find and discuss the available options with you.
Common Services Include
- Diagnosis and repair of mechanical problems
- Cleaning, maintenance and inspection
- General repair of rifles, shotguns and handguns
- Sight and scope installation and bore sighting
- Drilling and tapping for scope mounts
- Barrel threading for muzzle brakes
- Firearm rebluing and refinishing
What to Expect
Bring It In
- Make sure your firearm is unloaded.
- Bring it in during normal business hours—no appointment is needed.
- Feel free to call if you have any questions.
- You’ll receive a repair ticket when we check in your firearm.
We’ll Inspect It
We’ll examine the firearm, identify the problem and determine what work or replacement parts may be needed. Because every repair is different, some problems cannot be fully evaluated until we inspect the firearm.
Work & Completion
If anything needs to be clarified during the repair, we’ll give you a call before moving forward. We’ll contact you as soon as the work is complete and your firearm is ready for pickup.
