Lefever C - Grade Double

Among the few names of the finest classic American double guns, stands Lefever. This wonderful example is a C-Grade with Krupp fluid steel barrels. Lefever guns were rather expensive in their day, as they did not spare expense when building these beauties. The finer qualities of the Lefever sidelocks set them apart from their contemporaries of the day through their use of styling, engraving patterns, and wood selections.

The years of dirt and grime build-up on the stocks had been hiding its latent beauty. Along with the hideous recoil pad, this old girl had been suffering in the aesthetic department.

Here we have a before and after view once the complete restoration work had been done. This wonderful piece of 100 year old French walnut has been completed with our Deluxe hand polished varnish finish, with the butt finished off with a leather wrapped buttpad to provide the final touch of class. And of course, each line of checkering has been meticulously labored over as well.
